MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributors are the perfect upgrade for weak OE electronic distributors, outdated points distributors, and large HEIs or DuraSparks. All that's required is to install the distributor in the engine, and connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. It will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. The housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes for a unit with no porosity or weak areas. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top-mounted sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for low friction wear and resistance against corrosion from humidity and ozone buildup. Like the existing HP line, these carbs are available in 600, 750, and 950 cfm flow rates—and standard polished with black accents. MSD Programmable Digital-7 CD Plus ignitions have an output power and Individual Cylinder Management timing system that are hard to beat. At the heart of these ignitions is a 15 MHz micro-controller that analyzes and manages every trigger signal. Their capacitive discharge circuits and state-of-the-art IGBT coil drivers work together to deliver a potent spark that can easily handle high cylinder pressures. Below 3,300 rpm, a series of sparks burn in the cylinder over 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation, producing a smooth idle with great throttle response. You can control all of this spark energy through an array of timing and rpm programs. These programs include: Individual cylinder timing that can program up to 10 degrees per cylinder in .1 degree increments, a launch retard that lets you retard the timing up to 15 degrees for 0-2.5 seconds after the launch, a launch timing curve, and a run curve enabling you to plot a timing curve in .1 degree increments per 100 rpm. They also feature a three-step retard, a gear retard that can retard timing up to 5 degrees with every gear change, a start retard, three rev limiters, a shift light, and an rpm-activated window switch. You can also map a complete timing curve for every gear, set stage retards to ramp timing, see updated X-Y plots with interpolation for smooth changes, view all ignition events in a new Launch History window, acquire 20 seconds of run data including two seconds prior to launch, program an rpm that is ramped in during the launch, and select vacuum advance and boost retard through a MAP sensor. They can be used on 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines, and are supplied with the Pro-Data Plus software, PC harness, vibrations mounts, and wiring. An optional hand-held MSD Programmer Monitor is available separately.

If you run a blower, turbo, or even a naturally aspirated engine, MSD's Boost Timing Masters allow you to run at the edge of detonation for maximum power output. They can prevent detonation by automatically retarding the timing as your manifold pressure increases. The secret lies in a boost pressure sensor that's inside MSD's solid-state control box. The sensor reads boost pressure through a 1/8 in. vacuum hose attached to a boost pressure source. The result gives you peak power without harmful detonation. A dash-mounted control knob allows you to dial in the retard from 1 to 3 degrees per pound of boost pressure, up to a maximum retard of 15 degrees. Vacuum tubing is not included. These units must be used with an MSD 6, 7 or 8 series ignition.

APR throttle body inlet system is a comprehensive upgrade to the factory charge pipe system from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body. APR replaces all the components and provide a new, larger, free flowing system that flows roughly 34 percent more than stock. This was achieved by increasing the cross-sectional area of the system and by reducing the tight radius bend directly in front of the throttle body. This system does away with two potential boost leak points thanks to their single cast design. They have upgraded the intercooler outlet hose to a multiply wire-reinforced silicone design with T-bolt clamps that resist boost leak over the stock counterpart. APR's new billet throttle body to manifold adapter provides a convenient boost and vacuum reference point which can be used to for a gauge or anything else that suits your build. Lastly the system comes complete with new throttle body and intake manifold gaskets, which are common leak points many never know to address.
