ICON Premium Forged Anodized Pistons
ICON Premium forged pistons are designed to be application specific and are made from either 4032 or 2618 aluminum. 2618 aluminum has a lower silicon content and is better suited for engine combinations with high compression or a power adder. A byproduct of having a lower silicon content is an increased rate of thermal expansion. Because of this, pistons made from 2618 require more piston-to-cylinder wall clearance than their 4032 counterparts. ICON Premium forged anodized pistons include all the features of an FHR piston, with the addition of an anodized top ring groove and crown, precision CNC-machined valve reliefs and crown features, pressure fed pin bore oiling, and skirt and pin boss struts for increased strength and durability. ICON Premium pistons are built in a variety of compression ratios and are available for a wide range of engine types. Select the ones designed for your vehicle. Holley universal 4-barrel 1000 cfm 4150 flange throttle bodies feature integrated throttle position, idle air control and intake air temperature sensors to work with your aftermarket multi-port EFI system. Their standard square bore mounting pattern is designed to fit perfectly on most intake manifolds and the stout 1,000 cfm can handle high horsepower with no problem. These units have a CFD computer-designed modeled air entry area--so maximum velocity and accelerated air speed are delivered to the engine. The high-flow idle air control passages are great for large cu. in. to aid in idle stability. Holley universal 4-barrel 1000 cfm 4150 flange throttle bodies have an integrated GM 700R4 transmission kickdown location, as well as a kickdown lever for use with Ford transmissions. They feature all necessary vacuum ports, one timed spark, two 3/8 in. and two 3/16 in. full manifold vacuum ports. MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributors are the perfect upgrade for weak OE electronic distributors, outdated points distributors, and large HEIs or DuraSparks. All that's required is to install the distributor in the engine, and connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. It will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. The housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes for a unit with no porosity or weak areas. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top-mounted sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for low friction wear and resistance against corrosion from humidity and ozone buildup. B&M Jeep Precision Sport Shifters
B&M Racing introduces the Precision SportShifter for 2007-18 Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with the NSG370 6-speed manual transmission. The unit features a CNC billet aluminum case with an electric blue anodized finish which houses internal components made from super tough 4140 chromoly. The shift throw has been reduced by 35 percent over the factory shifter along with the detent pressure which has been significantly increased creating a noticeably stiffer shift feel. This was done to address problems with the softness of the factory shifter detent springs which easily pop out of gear while off-roading. The shifter uses the factory shift stick and knob.
