Steeda aluminum Ford Mustang lower rear control arms help to deliver traction and handling for daily drivers, road racers, and drag strip athletes. These suspension links offer superb hook to achieve the lowest 60 ft. times and optimum control off corners. They're extruded from high-strength 6061 T-6 aluminum to prevent flex—and the hard bushing centers control the axle for top performance, while the softer outer edges won't bind or squeak. The control arms are direct bolt-on, with sway bar mounts positioned to clear differential stud girdles and T-Rex fuel pumps. Billet aluminum vertical links are also available to upgrade from weaker stock components. They facilitate harder launches, while reducing wheel hop and deflection. Steeda's heavy-duty, direct replacement upper strut mounts replace the weak factory mounts. Steeda street heavy-duty upper strut mounts are manufactured to the same exacting tolerances as their industry-leading caster/camber plates. They utilize a roller bearing that exceeds OEM specs to ensure precise suspension control. They will not fail on lowered cars like the factory pieces. These upper mounts eliminate the "popping" sound that is common on lowered cars when the factory upper mounts fail. Unlike with the factory pieces, you can get an extra degree of camber in each direction with these plates as well. Steeda's heavy-duty upper mounts are specifically designed for street use.
