Unlike most brush guards and bumpers, ARB Sahara bars incorporate a fully engineered mounting system that completely replaces the factory bumper. They are the most stylish in the ARB bumper line with a lower bumper unit fitted with either a standard or optional grille guard hoop (depending on the specific model) for enhanced looks and greater grill protection. Most ARB Sahara bull bars retain OE turn signals, fog lamps, and tow points while offering additional mounts for accessory lights, antennas, and winches. Loaded with features aimed at making remote area travel safe, no other bumper offers the same degree of vehicle integration, protection, or functionality. With an air bag equipped 4x4 it is essential that neither the vehicle's crush rate nor air bag triggering are altered when a bull bar is installed. ARB assesses each vehicle's frontal crush characteristics and replicates the crush rate into the design of the bull bar and its mounting system. This allows engineers to achieve maximum possible vehicle and passenger protection without affecting the crash pulse. With their modern modular design, ARB Modular winch bar kits are truly innovative. Three unique and distinctive configurations are available, allowing for customization to meet your individual needs and preferences. All of their integrated features are designed from the ground up; including the Integrit textured black powdercoat, the exclusive press-formed fog light housings, and the ability to mount a variety of winches within the bumper. Base-style bull bars are full-width bumper replacements, without any uprights or outer frames. These kits provide a center pan and two outer wing sections, giving the truck an extremely robust winch platform and important impact protection. Sahara-style bull bars add a center upright hoop to a full-width bumper. This hoop provides additional protection around the truck's grille and critical components. Full deluxe-style bull bars include a full-width lower bumper replacement, center upright hoop, and outer frames. These kits provide the highest level of protection for the truck and its occupants. Thoughtfully designed chassis mounts are utilized to ensure that Summit bumpers are securely mounted to the chassis and the crush rate characteristics of the air bag system are retained. The bar mounts have had extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) testing and destructive crush testing to ensure that they do not deviate from OE manufacturers' chassis impact performance standards.
