The premium alternator utilizes 6-phase technology as found on the C7 Corvette and only requires a one-wire hookup. The water pump cartridge also shares its design efficiencies with that of the C7 Corvette. A compact and reliable SD7 A/C compressor and Type II power steering pump with baffled reservoir are also integrated. This system design provides two heater hose return port locations (upper top and passenger-side low). The mid-mount system comes complete with everything you need: the water pump, A/C compressor, alternator, and power steering pump with reservoir. All pulleys and the belt are supplied, along with heater hose adapters, power steering to-6 AN hardline, and the alternator plug/harness. These in-line fuel pumps are capable of high pressures and flows while maintaining a low amperage draw and quiet performance. They are designed to work on high-boosted race cars, endurance cars, and daily drivers. VR pumps will work with gasoline, methanol, and E-85 (compatible for methanol and E85 for competitive drag race use only- when draining and flushing after each race event). The VR1 and VR2 models are capable of a consistent 130 psi, can be fully submerged in the fuel cell or chassis mounted, and feature race-worthy billet aluminum construction for lasting durability and looks.
