The JL8 4-wheel disc brake upgrade was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "heavy-duty service" package sold through Chevrolet car dealers, and in 1969 could be ordered as a RPO on production vehicles. Ideal for use on most high performance applications, REKUDO is making complete JL8 brake systems available again with upgraded components and parts can be purchased to install, maintain, and repair JL8 brake systems on your early Corvette, Camaro, or Firebird. REKUDO JL8 disc brake pads are available for service of the JL8 front and rear brake system. They feature 100 percent non-asbestos organic material construction and offer quiet operation along with lower rotor wear. The pad material requires less heat to generate good friction, which makes them perfect for street driving. These brake linings are ideal for short autocross courses where a street pad works better because there isn't time to build sufficient heat that racing-oriented pads need.
