The heads are manufactured from A356 aluminum using permanent-mold technology for better port, chamber and quality finishes. They feature street performance CNC-ported intake runners, exhaust ports and combustion chambers. These cylinder heads are outfitted with AFR's trademarked .750 in. thick head deck to meet the boost and power demands of today's OEM and aftermarket engines. AFR has improved the water jacketing for enhanced cooling while retaining a minimum of .200 in. port to water jacket thickness.
