This unique "dual plenum" design offers increased airflow and even dispersion of air to intake ports—solving the two most common problems experienced with many intakes. The manifolds are available in configurations and options for year/make and engine applications from the 1990s and up. SCT Nostrum high-pressure fuel pumps flow more fuel than the factory fuel pump, allowing you to maintain the factory 60/40 GDI/PFI split while increasing power levels--even with stock GDI and PFI injectors. The added fuel capacity also allows you to dial in more boost earlier, resulting in a substantial increase in low end torque. Nostrum HPFPs are also ethanol compatible, so you also have the added benefit of being able to run E85 or other ethanol blends. Running ethanol is one of the best things you can do for your turbocharged vehicle, as it has a higher octane rating and is less prone to knock than 91/93 pump gas, and you have the potential to make more power as a result. aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers feature a bar and plate core design that outflows stock intercoolers by increasing heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the OEM. The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16 in. aluminum plates that incorporate seven Multi-Directional Vanes (MDV) throughout the intercooler. This aFe technology is used to direct hot air flow through the entire intercooler core, which allows for greater cooling. aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers are100 percent TIG-welded by certified craftsmen for race-quality strength and durability. They are pressure tested at 200 psi.
