The amazing HydraMat fuel pickups feature Holley's patent pending design that solves the problems associated with traditional fuel pick-ups in stock fuel tanks, as well as racing fuel cells. During hard cornering, acceleration, stopping, inclines, and low fuel conditions fuel runs away from the fuel pick up which introduces air into the system resulting in poor engine performance and even stalling. The Holley HydraMat fuel pickups are the solution! Surface tension and fluid wicking are the secrets of the HydraMat, giving it the amazing ability to draw from nearly any area that has contact with fuel and then store it in its internal reservoir. As an area of the HydraMat is uncovered, the tiny pores of the media seal off through surface tension, forcing fuel to be contained in the reservoir and drawn from other areas of the mat where fuel continues to be available. The sheer size and coverage area of the HydraMat allows it to pull fuel from virtually any area in the tank or cell eliminating the need for specialty reservoirs and pick up pumps saving cost and greatly reducing complexity. They are preset at 59.5 psi, and the cap can be removed and re-oriented to suit the desired fuel routing. These Holley EFI fuel pressure regulators feature 6061 T-6 billet aluminum construction, and are machined for all SAE6 ports with three -6 AN fittings included, plus an extra plug to replace one fitting when installed post throttle body/fuel rail. Holley boost control solenoids are designed for optimal performance when using the boost control function of Holley EFI. Some setups require two solenoids and some require one. They're driven by a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) output of the ECU. It is advised NOT to use the PWM+ outputs on a Holley HP ECU, but rather use the PWM- outputs. If you have a Holley Dominator ECU, use either the PWM- outputs or a PWM+ output on the J2B connector.

When the fuel temperature drops below 34 degrees F, the thermostatically controlled FASS high-output fuel heater disks will automatically power on. Fuel is then heated by the 300 watt heating element as the fuel is entering the FASS System, preventing gelling of the diesel fuel in the FASS filters. As the FASS continually polishes the fuel, it will heat the fuel in the fuel tank, further preventing gelling. Once the fuel reaches optimal temperature, the high-output heater disk will automatically power off, eliminating the possibility of overheating the diesel fuel.
