Hays designed the Twister torque converters to be one step short of being a "Full Race" converter giving you the perfect combination of performance and affordability. Every torque converter is hand built, inspected and tested to ensure they meet the top of the line quality you expect. To ensure consistency and improve performance each converter is built for one transmission with one bolt pattern, meaning a lighter converter to maximize performance. High flow stators promote better cooling and heavy duty Torrington bearings are used to increase strength and durability. New EBC CSK clutch springs prevent damage from prolonged exposure to heat and wear. They are OEM upgrades and are 10 percent stiffer than stock. The lever will be slightly stiffer which can wear your hand out riding in heavy traffic, but in return the clutch engages smoother and faster with the stiffer springs making takeoff smooth and shifting faster and less effort to speed shift.
