High horsepower and torque leads to chassis flex. Competition Engineering roll cage struts defeat chassis flex and lessen your vehicle's reaction time by tying the front frame to the roll cage. These 1 5/8 in. by .134 in. wall mild steel tubing struts are mandrel-formed, meet NHRA and IHRA requirements, and are pre-notched for easy attachment to the roll cage. Welding is required. Competition Engineering roll cage struts secure the roll cage to the front of the frame--making for one tough, solid unit on the race track.
