Standard Motor ABS speed sensors supply information regarding wheel movement to the ABS computer. They're often located at each wheel hub/rotor on 4-wheel disc systems. Alternatively, on rear drum applications, you'll usually find them mounted on the differential housing. Under braking, if wheel speeds are unequal, indicating wheel lockup, the computer modulates the anti-lock feature until the speeds are equal again. Replacement ABS speed sensors are available for hundreds of makes/models. Just match up your vehicle specs to order the correct unit.

Fix your light issues with Crown Automotive neutral and backup safety switches, direct replacements for your original equipment at a reasonable price. Neutral safety switches prevent the vehicle from starting when in any other gear besides "Neutral" and "Park"—and they double as a backup light switch. Backup switches can make other drivers aware of your intentions when you shift into reverse. These small replacement units help to prevent accidents which may occur if your old switches become loose or have degraded over time. Crown safety switches are available in various styles for fitment on numerous makes and models.

That glowing light on the dash that says "ABS" isn't a reminder that your vehicle has this safety feature--it's a reminder that it isn't functioning properly. Crown Automotive ABS speed sensors are designed to the same specifications as the OE units for easy fitment and reliability. Each wheel has at least one sensor that monitors speed and sends that information to the control module, where the correct pressure is sent to ensure quick stopping without skidding. The dash light comes on to inform you that at least one sensor isn't working, and the ABS is turned off. Get the correct parts for the right locations with Crown ABS speed sensors.
