Kits are available for boost, exhaust gas temperature, nitrous oxide, brake pressure, inlet air temperature, or UEGO replacement gauges. PSIG sensor kits are offered in brass or stainless steel. Use brass sensors where you need a good reference to what pressure is being seen; e.g., reference/information of manifold pressure, not for ECU calibration. Stainless sensors should be used where you need exact details of the pressure; e.g., calibration/critical MAP sensor information for the ECU. The AEM Electronics 8-Channel K-Type EGT CAN module uses an integrated cold junction sensor to ensure lab-grade temperature readings across all eight channels. It has the ability to read better than one percent full scale, even at the extreme temperature range (-328 to 2,501 degrees F). The module also includes open circuit/fault detection to notify you if a sensor loses its connection or needs to be replaced. This unit will work with non-AEM devices with configurable CAN bus. The module utilizes flexible CAN configuration jumpers, which allow it to be used with just about any third party devices. AEM Electronics offers high-quality stainless steel PSIa sensor kits in 15 (1 BAR), 30 (2 BAR), 50 (3.5 BAR), 75 (5 BAR) and 100 (7 BAR). PSIa is referenced to absolute zero—the pressure measurement when all the pressure exerted by the atmosphere has been removed. The most common use for absolute pressure sensors is reading manifold pressure. PSIa sensors are required if you wish to measure vacuum. A PSIa sensor will read about 14.7 psi when the sensing element is exposed to atmospheric pressure at sea level; however, they can be recalibrated to read zero at atmospheric, and a negative number at values less than atmospheric pressure.

If you are running an aftermarket pump that is mounted external of the fuel tank, you will need to install a draw straw or drill your fuel tank to accommodate a sump. Each of these has some significant drawbacks including the 1/4 tank issues that result in cavitation of the pump when you draw air into the fuel system. To resolve this issue there are Fleece Performance SureFlo performance sending units. SureFlo units are designed to work with aftermarket lift pumps and fit directly into your stock sending unit location. Each one features factory-style quick disconnects to adapt your stock fuel lines at the tank, giving you the cleanest installation available, and requiring no cutting or drilling of the tank. SureFlo works by drawing fuel from, and returning fuel to, the bucket assembly at the base of the unit, ensuring you are always drawing fuel into your pump and not drawing air into the fuel system, as well as eliminating the dreaded 1/4 tank problems.
