The design incorporates a splined dual-bearing system that eliminates belt stresses on the P/S pump's internal bearings, assuring long life. Versions of the power steering drives are available for LT4/5 dry-sump and LT4 wet-sump applications. Please order accordingly. They are available in two versions: cast iron Saginaw Type II pumps with reservoirs for use on low LS accessory drives; or Corvette-style lightweight aluminum pumps (also known as Saginaw TC type pumps) for use with Holley driver's side brackets. The aluminum pumps will also work with Holley's special LS reservoir kit.

Disabling this unit has been proven to provide greater vehicle stability with more predictable handling at the limit, allowing for faster lap times and more controlled drifts. The lockouts are available for a variety of vehicles, including many Nissan models from the 1980s and '90s.
