APR turbo outlet pipes replace the factory plastic pipe with a high-quality aluminum pipe that is a constant diameter within. APR pays close attention to the airflow paths and provide as few bends and tight radius turns as possible to maximize performance. Unlike the factory plastic pipes, APR's won't melt and crack under extreme conditions. This direct replacement piece additionally deletes the turbo muffler, which is integrated into the pipe on the Golf R/S3 and similar platform vehicles. The pipe features bead rolled connection points to resist hose slippage, and all mounting brackets are TIG-welded to the pipe for a strong connection. Finally, the pipe is finished in an attractive satin black finish. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path.
