Steeda's adjustable suspension systems are designed for maximum performance. They include Tokico D-spec struts and shocks, which feature infinite simultaneous adjustment of compression and rebound. The front coilover systems are designed with their exclusive upper strut mount kit, eliminating the weak factory upper spring perch, which is prone to "popping" with increased spring rates, and provides +/- 1 degree of camber adjustment not available with the factory mount. Steeda S550 Ford Mustang rear subframe alignment kits are specially designed to work with BMR CB005 and SR Performance IRS tie-down kits to solve the problem of the rear subframe being misaligned from the factory. On the S550s, there is a large difference in size between the subframe's mounting holes and mounting bolt, causing misalignment from the factory up to 1/2 in. left to right. Steeda kits are made from CNC-machined Delrin to avoid putting two dissimilar metals next to each other, preventing corrosion, and it also weighs less than aluminum or steel. The Delrin sleeves slide into the subframe mounting holes, and fill the extra space left between the subframe mount and bolt from the factory.
