MSD Pro 600 CDI Ignition and High-Output Coil Kits
When you're making extreme cylinder pressure with boost or nitrous on an inductive coil-per-plug ignition, lack of spark energy means you're leaving horsepower on the table. MSD Pro 600 CDI ignition kits with high-output coils answer this need. The Pro 600 CDI ignitions provide unrivaled spark energy and dependability. They have built-in protection for accidental reverse battery connection, over temperature protection, and LED diagnostics that can identify an issue with individual coils should a problem arise. They also feature a programmable power setting to allow racers to switch between 250 to 400 millijoule outputs, or the industry-leading output of 680 millijoules via an activation wire or software, meaning that you can turn it down for the long haul and then set it to kill mode at the strip, making the Pro 600 ideal for a Drag Week-style car and really any no-compromise vehicle. Perfectly complementing the Pro 600 ignition box in these MSD kits are high-output 8280 ignition coils, replacing the extremely capable 8232 coils used in the 8-channel capacitive discharge ignition kits. Available in red or black, the 8280 coils have the goods to back up their aesthetics with increased peak spark current, overall spark energy, and greater thermal efficiency. Designed for coil-near-plug engine management systems, the PRO 600 is also capable of easily converting any distributor-type ignition into a coil-near-plug system. MSD Direct Ignition Systems
The MSD Direct Ignition System (DIS) controller greatly simplifies the conversion from conventional distributor-type engines to a coil-per-plug configuration. Benefits include the elimination of distributor cap and rotor wear; reduced spark energy losses caused by long spark plug wires; and the ability to optimize your ignition tuning parameters. The integral 2.5 bar MAP sensor and optional temperature sensor input mean you get the most power and reliability out of your naturally aspirated or forced induction engine. The new Ultra 6AL Series ignition boxes deliver full MSD power in a compact, lighter package! The Ultra 6AL Series continues to use a high-speed controller that can make extremely quick compensations to the output voltage, multiple spark series, timing and rpm limits, while maintaining precise timing and accurate rev limiting. The circuits and controller of the MSD have been thoroughly filtered to create protection against Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI). Ultra 6AL Series features a capacitive discharge ignition design. MSD Super HEI Kits
MSD Super HEI kits solve the common problem of power loss and a lack of response above 4,500 rpm. Different kits are available with all of them allowing you to remove or bypass the low-powered HEI module and coil and replace them with an MSD 6A or 6AL ignition control and Blaster 2 high output coil. The results are more power, an increased rpm range, easier starting, and better mileage and performance. The Super HEI conversion fits all GM V8 engines with the GM HEI internal coil distributor. The complete Super HEI kits include an MSD 6A ignition, Blaster 2 coil, coil wire, HEI dust cover, and coil bracket. The HEI II kits are identical to the standard kits, except that they come with a 6AL ignition. The 6AL has Soft Touch Rev Control to protect your engine from overrevving.

MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire Sets
MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wire sets feature a special helically wound core that has just 40-50 ohms of resistance per foot—but with an RFI suppression equal to a 1,500 ohm wire. In fact, each foot of finished wire includes 40 ft. of tightly wound copper for superior conductivity. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference "choke." This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle. A tough, 8.5mm synthetic/silicone jacket over an extra-heavy glass braid and dielectric insulator keeps the current guided to the plugs. Underneath the high-temperature boots, dual crimp stainless steel terminals feature snap-locks to ensure a secure fit. Each set comes with clip-on cylinder markers for easy identification. MSD's 8.5mm Super Conductor wire sets are available in custom or universal-fit applications, assembled or not, with a variety of terminal and boot end options.
