BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers use the same high-efficiency micro-extruded bar technology that is in the BD Diesel air-to-air charge coolers, providing 22 percent more cooling over similar designs. Their 200 micro-extruded passages provide a large surface area to transfer heat for external airflow cooling, while their turbulent oil design promotes more complete cooling. They feature large 5/8 in. ports to prevent inlet/outlet restriction and furnace-brazed rails that have been tested to 300 psi of pressure.
