APR braided stainless steel brake line upgrades are a direct-fit replacement that improves your braking experience with the best lines on the market today. Forget the factory rubber hoses that expand and can even rupture over time. These braided 304 stainless steel lines with a smooth-bore PTFE core allow for very little expansion. This gives you a firmer brake pedal with less required pedal travel, as the fluid gets to its destination faster without all the flex and expansion that happens with lower quality lines. Unlike many universal lines on the market that often use connector adapters, APR brake lines are application-specific with the correct length and hose fittings, eliminating potential leak points. The lines have an attractive PVC outer jacket in smoked clear so you can see the braided lines from within, with red anodized inserts, and Cr3+ steel connectors. Each brake line is fully tested to 3,000 psi prior to sale, which is far beyond typical operating pressures. The lines are independently certified as SAE "low-expansion" lines and average only 0.07 cc/ft at 1,000 psi and 0.11 cc/ft at 2,900 psi. They're compatible with DOT 3, 4, 5 (silicone-based), and 5.1 brake fluids, are fully DOT-compliant, and meet FMVSS106 and SAE J1401 standards. APR DTR6054 turbocharger systems are direct replacements for the EA888 Gen 3 engine. These upgrades include matching software for various vehicles and mods, providing up to 491 hp and 425 lbs.-ft. of torque, depending on vehicle platform and fueling, all while keeping emissions components unmodified. The software supports premium pump fuel grades, race fuel grades, and even ethanol on the Golf R, S3, and TT S platform with fueling upgrades. For dedicated race cars the turbocharger is designed with plenty of headroom to go even further on your own! Designed and developed from the ground up by APR, DTR6054 turbochargers do not require a core and there's no additional downtime. They are built using an aluminum anti-surge compressor cover with appropriate A/R matched to a larger aircraft-grade, 6061 billet aluminum 60mm compressor wheel, a turbine housing cast with high-temperature 310 stainless steel to take the heat and abuse seen on a road course, and a nickel-based superalloy K418 high-flow 54mm turbine wheel. A German dual ceramic ball bearing center section provides smooth and reliable operation with a better transient response, eliminating the factory failure-prone journal bearing design. Each kit includes the complete turbocharger with compressor inlet pipe, compressor outlet hose, T-bolt clamps, gaskets, O-rings, exhaust ring, exhaust V-band, exhaust manifold gasket, studs, bolts, and washers, oil and coolant line O-rings, and APR's ECU upgrades for select vehicles. The upgrade uses your factory electronic wastegate and diverter valve, and connects to your factory exhaust, intake, turbo outlet pipe, and oil and coolant lines. APR's Ultimate DQ500 DSG / S Tronic transmission catch can and breather system is here! The factory transmission features a plastic breather system that allows for transmission fluid expansion and removal of gases. Unfortunately, this system easily becomes taxed, causing transmission fluid to spew all over the engine bay. The APR system fixes this problem through the use of an easy-to-install and compact catch can system. The larger can collects the expanded fluids and allows for venting of trapped gases through a breather filter. The can is larger than stock—and fluids enter at an angle to help prevent them from spraying through the breather filter. When possible, the transmission fluid simply drains back into the transmission.
