aFe Control PFADT Series Rear Shock Mount Spherical Bearing Kits
aFe Control is proud to release the PFADT Series Rear Shock Mount Spherical Bearing Kit for the 1997-2013 Corvette. OE factory shock bushings are soft rubber and known to deteriorate over time. Add in serious track use or a coilover conversion, and they're guaranteed to fail. The aFe Control kit replaces the rubber shock bushings with mono-ball spherical joints to eliminate friction and deflection. These high-quality components feature 6061-T6 aluminum bearing housings with a special Mil-Spec high corrosion-resistant anodizing and CNC-machined 6061-T6 articulation spacers. The replaceable bearings are PTFE-lined for minimum friction and zero maintenance. This kit is designed to maximize the performance of your Corvettes suspension. aFe Glide Guard On-Board Air Compressor Mounts
aFe Power is proud to introduce all-new Glide Guard on-board compressor and tank mounts. Glide Guard comes powdercoated in a matte black finish with counter-sunk compressor and tank mounting holes for protection. Once the required aFe left side exit exhaust system (sold separately) is installed, the skid plate mounts neatly in the former factory muffler location—tucking your air compressor and tank as high as possible (air compressor and tank not included). The Glide Guard is fabricated from 3/16 in. thick steel to withstand extreme off-road conditions. This system bolts in, utilizing factory locations and an additional four drilled holes with heavy-duty nut plates for installation. Product details: * Constructed of 3/16 in. thick steel for strength and rigidity * Powdercoated in matte black finish for maximum corrosion protection * Counter-Sunk compressor/tank mounting holes provide smooth bottom surface * Hi-Tuck Design * Utilizes factory attachment points (rear trailer hitch bolts) and minor drilling for simple installation * Designed for ARB compressor CKMTA-12 and tank 171601 (may use other compressor/tank combinations as your application allows) Notes: Glide Guard mounts require the installation of an aFe Hi-Tuck "RB" (Rock Basher) exhaust system (P/N 49-08040/41 or 49-46231/32). They do NOT fit with the factory exhaust system. These systems relocate the muffler to a forward position, where it is less vulnerable to off-road damage and add additional power and performance to your Jeep! While the Glide Guard is designed to fit with most aftermarket suspensions, some aftermarket rear suspension systems (i.e., coilover conversion) and/or sway bar setups may interfere with fitment.
