Built on the unique, patent-pending X-Digital technology, they report accurate information quickly— enabling you to tune your engine more efficiently. These gauges have modern, visually striking faceplates with 7-segment center displays that are 87 percent larger. They're ultra-slim and come with black bezels and black dual-faced faceplates for air/fuel and Lambda. The displays are user-configurable and feature auto-dimming. AEM Electronics Tru-BoostX gauge-type controller kits combine the simplicity of a manual boost controller with the added ease of adjusting boost levels through a gauge interface. There is no external interface required for setup and they are fully functional right out of the box. If you want more boost, press the button on the right of the gauge face, and if you want less boost, press the button on the left of the gauge face. It's that simple, and it works! AEM Electronics Tru-BoostX gauge-type controller kits contain everything you need, including an on-board 80 psig pressure sensor, built-in overboost protection with two timed shutdown levels, a scramble boost setting, and a low-side output for a warning light. AEM includes a boost control solenoid that is specifically manufactured for automotive boost applications. AEM Electronics EV Combined Charging Units
AEM Electronics EV combined charging units (CCU) simplify the electric vehicle (EV) drive system. The units merge an on-board charger (OBC) and a DC-DC converter (DCDC). The OBC charges the HV battery pack by taking 120 V or 240 V AC energy from the grid, converting it to high-voltage DC and charging the high-voltage battery in the vehicle. The DC-DC converter takes the high-voltage from the battery pack and converts it to low-voltage to maintain the charge in the vehicle's 12 V battery, and performs the duties that the alternator does in an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle. The combined charging units are fully controlled by the VCU via the CANbus and the OBC and DC-DC report voltage, current, and status information back to the VCU. The AEM EV CCUs are very compact and lightweight, while offering high efficiency, stable charging, long life, a high-protection level, and high reliability. They are 100 percent driven via CAN by the VCU in conjunction with the BMS-18, and is not directly controlled by the charge plug connector or the off vehicle EVSE (Electrical Vehicle Service Equipment). AEM Mini Master Battery Management Systems
AEM Mini Master battery management systems are comprised of three components: 1. VCU 2. BMS-18 Mini Master 3. BMS-18 Satellite(s) The BMS is implemented as two different module types: the Mini Master and the Satellite. Each module is capable of measuring up to 18 cells and three temperatures (thermistors), but the Master also contains the CAN communication interface and J1772 charging specific connections needed for each battery pack. The VCU communicates with the BMS via the Mini Master module and all battery packs need at least one Mini Master unit. The Satellites expand the capability of the Master by an additional 18 cells and three thermistors per additional Satellite connected. The Satellite modules are connected to their Master via a high-speed serial interface (isoSPI) that allows additional units to be daisy chained together, adding as many Satellites as necessary for the battery pack configuration. The VCU is responsible for all BMS control logic. All setup and calibration items can be modified using the AEMCal user interface.
