These forged aluminum alloy piston kits feature lightweight slipper skirts, machined crowns, CNC-finished pin bores, low drag ultra-flat rings, German steel pins, and race-proven round wire locks. The pistons are deburred and coated with dry phosphate to protect against micro-welding in the ring grooves and pin galling during initial startup. Piston skirts are given Mahle's proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating for additional performance. With specific pocket location and depths to match your Trick Flow® heads, these assemblies enable the use of aggressive cams, allowing you to pull every last bit of horsepower from this high-powered pair.
