With any older standard cab truck, getting the stock gas tank out of the cab to free up some space and move some weight toward the rear of the truck is always a good idea. Classic Performance aluminum gas tanks fit between the frame rails, are fully baffled, and are compatible with EFI or carburetors. They are made from 0.125 in. 5051 aluminum with 0.187 in. thick brackets and are the thickest on the market.
