Additional finishes for Patriot Roadster/Sprint Car headers: * Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. Since you have to use a catalytic converter anyhow, you might as well use one that will last a long time and maintain your vehicle's performance level in the process. Catco direct-fit catalytic converters feature 409 stainless steel shells, 16-gauge stainless steel pipes and nipples, and a heat-resistant sealed mat—all of which help them to last longer. These Catco units are direct replacements for OE converters and will install with little or no modification.
