CSF racing radiators feature the most advanced and efficient radiator cores in the industry. Offered for both vehicle-specific and universal applications, they use innovative tube and fin technologies with industry-leading testing methods to maximize airflow and heat dissipation. Specially engineered tubes in the shape of a "B" are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum because this design is stronger than normal welded "O" shape tubes. With the inlet in the middle of a seam-brazed tube, the surface area of the tubes is increased approximately 15 percent over regular tubes. With CSF's B-tubes you get dual liquid laminar flow and the efficiency of two smaller tubes vs. one large tube in the same space. High-efficiency, multi-louvered fins are precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core. Off-Roading and Overlanding is the fastest growing segment for automotive enthusiasts. As demand for off-road capable vehicles has gone up, older Toyota/Lexus models have become increasingly popular due to their reliability and reasonable prices. Boasting a bulletproof 4.7L V8, 4WD, and ample interior space, it's not hard to see why more and more people are building the J100 Land Cruiser and LX470 for their off-road adventures. While the J100's 2UZ V8 may be rock solid and can easily keep the SUV running for over 200,000 miles, there are plenty of parts that won't last forever. Although the OEM radiator is well suited for the task of keeping the engine cool in day-to-day driving, it still has its weaknesses. Also, given the age of these SUVs, the original radiator is almost certainly something you want to replace before heading into the wild. CSF is pleased to introduce its latest heavy-duty aluminum radiator for the 1998-200707 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470. * Design and Engineering: CSF has had unprecedented success with heavy-duty, off-road grade radiators for Toyota trucks and SUVs. With most off-road vehicles, the factory cooling components can easily become over-stressed. This may be due to the demanding stress on the engine while climbing or dirt clogging up some of the cooling fins. Keyser Manufacturing single pass radiators are "heat exchangers" featuring 100 percent aluminum core construction and a billet machined filler neck. The units are TIG-welded for durability, with fin covers enclosing the top and bottom for a clean look, as well as protection and an easy installation. Radiator interiors include a 3 in. thick furnace-brazed core and two rows of 1 in. cooling tubes. (Performance model tubes are 25 percent wider.) Many of the Keyser Manufacturing radiators also have a transmission oil cooler, an important asset when you consider that over 14 million transmissions fail each year--most from overheating.
