These new clean sheet designed aftermarket blocks are cast in a modern state-of-the-art German foundry on brand new molds and machined in USA on modern high-speed machining centers that can hold the tightest of tolerances. Why start your engine build with a dirty, old, worn-out production block that needs hundreds or thousands of dollars of machine work--when you can start with a new heavy-duty casting full of high-performance features. We ship these blocks mostly finished but leave the cylinder bore .005" undersize, your machine shop will have to hone them for proper size. Scat forged standard weight crankshafts are designed for street or race engines with substantially increased horsepower. These crankshafts are precision-ground, heat-treated, shot-peened, inspected, and micro-polished for superior tolerance control. Scat crankshafts are also nitride-hardened for superior wear resistance, have straight-shot and chamfered oil holes, and feature lightening holes in all rod throws. They also have a large radius on all journals for improved strength and wear resistance. Scat forged standard weight crankshafts are available in dozens of sizes and configurations for fitment on vehicles spanning seven decades.

Edelbrock Pro-Port raw cylinder heads are un-ported versions of the Edelbrock race-winning Victor Series CNC heads for the professional cylinder head porter and engine builder. Pro-Port raw cylinder heads are cast with extra-thick walls to allow for custom CNC porting. They are the only heads designed specifically to accommodate almost any CNC port shape, size or location. Some Edelbrock Pro-Port raw heads feature their special Hot Isostatic Pressing or HIP Process.
