Their pumps require less maintenance, service, and downtime—and all EMAX gas-powered compressors furnish the power needed at the jobsite, garage, or shop. These units have ASME-approved air receivers and custom-built engine stands that brace the platform of the tank, allow easy belt tightening, and significantly reduce vibration. Many competitors' pumps run at double the rpm of EMAX pumps because they are much smaller and must run fast to produce enough air. Available in several cfm, voltage, and phase combinations, EMAX piston compressor with dryer bundles take the guess work out of pairing a refrigerated dryer with a compressor. At the core of all EMAX compressors are their durable, quiet pumps. They start with cast iron crankcases and precision-balanced, cast iron crankshafts with stainless steel roller bearings for smooth operation, less drag, and lower energy use. Pump rpm is critical to performance and longevity, so EMAX pumps are over-size and run at lower rpm. They still yield high-cfm outputs and the lower rpm reduces friction and heat. EMAX's raised pump platforms elevate the pump for a constant flow of cool air from the flywheel fan to the underside of the crankcase. The cooler oil pulls heat off the pistons and connecting rods--reducing wear and extending pump life.
