Perfect for the most extreme competition engines, including exotic fuels, heavy nitrous, and high boost, Eagle's HD rotating assemblies are equipped with Eagle's forged 4340 center-counterweighted crank (when available), forged H-Beam rods with ARP 2000 or L19 bolt upgrade and purpose-built heavy duty pistons. The pistons used in Eagle's heavy-duty assemblies are built for high boost levels or bucket-loads of nitrous. Every part is top-of-the-line and ready to support whatever you want to throw at it. Holley's high-mount base accessory drive kits have everything pulled up and in tighter than other options. The patent-pending accessory drive incorporates the timing cover, water pump, and alternator and can also be configured with A/C and/or P/S if desired. The systems are designed to work with the factory crank pulley, as well as aftermarket damper and pulleys. Accessory drive components in the system can be configured in several different ways. For example, there are alternator options offered for different performance and electrical demands. Also, deleting the A/C and/or P/S are options. These "base kits" supply all but the components with options. If you purchase a "Holley complete kit," all these options are already chosen for the most common, cost-effective combination. Manley Pro Series crankshafts can make your short block bulletproof. They feature forged 4340 construction and undergo a multi-step heat-treatment process and are then nitrided for added strength. The crankshafts are stress-relieved, shot-peened, and magnafluxed. Manley Pro Series crankshafts have micro-polished large .125 in. radius journals, gun-drilled mains, and lightened rod journals for weight reduction. The counterweights are fully profiled and they are designed for internal balancing.
