Detroit Speed weld-on subframe connectors join your front subframe and rear frame rails to increase your car's stiffness. These uniquely designed DSE connectors are fabricated from thick-wall rectangular steel tubing. They are bent and TIG-welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability. Unlike others, these DSE subframe connectors are barely visible from underneath the car, offering maximum ground clearance. Plus, they won't interfere with seat attachment hardware or the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket. And, your molded factory carpet will still fit over the subframe connectors. Detroit Speed weld-on subframe connectors can be installed on convertibles and are supplied with templates, pictures, and detailed instructions for installation.

Emu Dakar leaf springs typically feature: * Draw-tapered and diamond-cut leaves: Ensure the load is progressively distributed over a larger surface area, reducing the high stresses that develop at leaf ends. This provides increased ride quality and protection against leaf breakage, significantly increasing the spring life * Bolt clamps and liners: The leaf clamps are bolted to allow installation of anti-squeak nylon liners * Fully scragged and load-tested: Scragging ensures the spring takes a permanent "set" which reduces the risk of sagging.
