DV8 Offroad Jeep JK spare tire carriers feature a body-mounted design that transfers the weight of oversized tires/wheels from the factory door hinges to the body of your Wrangler. The mounting location of each carrier positions the tire higher than the factory placement which helps to improve the departure angle with larger tires when rock crawling. These tire carriers are made from high-quality steel tubing that's built to withstand rough trail conditions while providing an aggressive design that accents your Jeep's factory styling. The carriers' hidden wiring and zip-tie tabs allow for clean wire management of the included LED license plate light. With the included cam nut, the carrier can be adjusted for the perfect fit, and it can mount up to a 38x13.50 sized tire/wheel with a -25 max offset. DV8 Offroad Jeep JK Bumper Add-On Tire Carriers extend from the bumper (RS-10 and RS-11) to the Jeep's rear tailgate. Much like the DV8 RS-2 Tire Carrier, it opens along with the tailgate in one step, rather than the 2-step process of opening a standard swing-away tire carrier. This carrier is designed to bolt onto your existing RS-10 or RS-11 bumper, so that if you're on a budget you can purchase the bumper and then the tire carrier when ready. It's precision CNC laser-cut with a multitude of mounting points so you can get creative with your hi-lift jack, gas and water cans, or whatever else you like to bring with you. After being laser-cut, the pieces are sent to be expertly welded, and then finished with a black powdercoat. The final product is a solid tire carrier that can handle the load of any Jeep adventure.
