Edelmann compression fittings are designed for low- and medium-pressure applications. They do not require flaring or soldering. To make a connection, place the nut and then the sleeve over the tubing, and insert the tube into the fitting body as far as possible. When the nut is tight, the wedging action of the sleeve between the body and the nut creates a secure, leak-free connection. Edelmann compression fittings are available in varieties such as male and female connectors, male and female elbows, run tees, and unions.
