If you're contemplating performing a solid axle swap (SAS) on a 1995-2004 Tacoma, a word to the wise: keep in mind that both removing and replacing the oil pan is a necessary step to avoid clearance issues. Trail-Gear has put together a replacement kit for both the 2.7 and the 3.4 Tacoma engines, with all of the associated parts that you'll need for an easy oil pan conversion while installing Trail-Gear's Tacoma SAS oil pan kits. The kits are designed to provide plenty of clearance for axle housing, steering linkage, and ram assist.
