Once installed, the factory fuel filter is no longer needed and can be easily removed by using this canister delete. Because your Duramax fuel filter is located after the fuel filtration system, you'll still need to replace the factory filter every 5,000-8,000 miles. This filter delete kit will replace your now-useless fuel filter with a spin-on canister that allows fuel to flow freely into the engine, saving you even more money. The kit is a perfect addition to your FASS Titanium or AirDog diesel fuel pump and comes with all required hardware for a professional installation. (Note: This product is ONLY for use on trucks that already have another form of filtration, such as a FASS or Airdog.)
