These Air Ride adjustable suspensions enable you to raise or lower your muscle car at the push of a button. The systems include front and rear HQ Series Shockwaves with adjustable rebound, plus upper and lower StrongArm front control arms, tall spindles, a bolt-on 4-link, and a front MuscleBar sway bar. Air Ride provides ultra-low show stance with modern ride quality and handling—and includes several components that will dramatically improve the suspension geometry to give your classic muscle car modern drivability. Systems are available with "pin" or "hub" spindles. Product features: * Tall "pin" spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle. * OR … "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late-model Corvette hubs and brakes. Uses C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking, and reduced maintenance. (Hubs not included). Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE, and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels. * The upper StrongArms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. Upgrades: * Early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry—the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is bad, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The TruTurn System resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically means faster corner speeds.
