EMAX Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are quiet. The most common complaints about compressors are their high noise levels. EMAX Silent Air units not only still the noise, but they also do it with a big cfm output and lower rpm. Featuring their Whisper 100 system installed on the back of the tanks, stationary compressor dB ratings are reduced by as much as 25 percent. The Whisper dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling intake air through a series of baffle plates and prefilter media inside the silencer cabinet. Piston intake noise is trapped and dissipated within the silencer structure; plus, it also provides secondary filtration for cleaner air. Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are designed for up to 50,000 hours of commercial or industrial use with proper maintenance. Because of their higher torque factor, compared to the 3,450 rpm motors most manufacturers use, they run much cooler. They also yield low harmonic distortion, provide much higher torque in cold weather starting, and require less electricity to start. Other features include big 1 3/8 in. output shafts, large starting and running capacitors, and dynamically balanced armatures. Their 15 Service Factor means the motors can be pulled 15 percent over full load. Depending on the application, many Silent Air piston compressors feature totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motors that keep harmful dust and particulates out of the motor. They come standard with a 1,000,0001 Mile Warranty. * Front sway bar reduces body roll and creates room for wider front tires. Includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low friction bushings. * Bolt-on 4-link dramatically improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation does not require significant modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube. Works with mini-tubs. All links are double adjustable with R-joint rod ends, which combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special street/strip bearing. Upgrades: * TruTurn System: The early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry; the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is terrible, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The Tru Turn system resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * Rear sway bar: The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically mean faster corner speeds. The MuscleBar sway bar helps keep those rear tires hooked up through the corner. * Weld-on lower axle brackets are available for aftermarket axle housing without stock-style leaf spring pads. These 100 percent bolt-in front crossmember kits include all the necessary components to replace your old worn-out suspension with new, modern air ride.
