Building transmissions since 1963, Bowler believes in detail, and each of their Tru-Street automatic transmissions are fully remanufactured (not "rebuilt") by one qualified technician, dyno tested, and then custom packaged for safe shipping. The Tru-Street Series includes torque converter and may include other components, as well. Choose the one you prefer.

GearStar Ford 6R80 Level 4 transmissions come with a custom billet Yank Performance lockup torque converter. This is the first of many upgrades that go into making sure that each transmission is built for performance applications to handle up to 750 crank horsepower or 700 crank foot-pounds of torque. These units have a brand-new valve body, brand new pump, billet intermediate shaft, expanded capacity clutches and steels, upgraded transmission cooler bypass valve, several valve body upgrades. They come with all new electrics, including the wiring harness, all sensors and solenoids—along with all new bushings, bearings, and seals. Every Level 4 transmission is assembled by one of GearStar's five expert builders. The transmission packages arrive dyno tested with 100 miles already on the product, which means the break-in procedure has been done and they're ready to go! Ford 6R80 Level 4 transmission models are available for 4WD or RWD applications.

They feature redesigned clutch packs with 50 percent more holding surface, steel 6-pin planetary gear carriers, and new lube ports added for high-load areas.
