The supercharger, supercharger intake manifold, inlet, pulley, fuel injectors, fuel rails, front & rear fuel crossovers, and intercooler come pre-assembled to make installation simple and easy while the accessory box is organized into individual sub-assemblies to help ensure that you don't lose track of parts in the middle of your installation. ProCharger P-1X high-output supercharger head units feature the robust, self-contained gearcase that is standard on most ProCharger models, but with a new aerodynamic compressor design. They create cooler-charge air temperatures and more horsepower at the same boost level and step-up ratio as their industry-standard supercharger kits (P-1SC-1 and D-1SC). This higher efficiency design is engineered to be a bolt-in replacement for both of those—they fit in the same brackets—and offers greater maximum-power potential. The compressor side of these superchargers (the volute and impeller) was redesigned with greater efficiency and less parasitic engine load in mind. Edelbrock's engineers collaborated with Garrett on the design of all new turbos for the 3.5L EcoBoost trucks. These new direct bolt-in turbos incorporate the latest in turbocharger technology, offering a 54 percent increase in airflow over the factory turbos. A 60mm billet compressor wheel produces great improvements in compressor efficiency and flow. The 50mm Inconnel turbine wheel and larger .45 A/R stainless steel turbine housing result in a 52 percent increase in turbine flow. The 2.75 in. compressor inlets are 38 percent larger than the factory turbos, complementing Edelbrock's high-flow turbo inlet piping. The new turbochargers—combined with Edelbrock's larger intercooler, air inlet tubes, and high-flow air filter—offer huge increases in power potential for this application.
