TCI StreetFighter automatic transmission packages are durable enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines. Using the highest quality TCI manufactured components, each StreetFighter package is equipped with an automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. This gives you racetrack shifts and shaves time off your ETs. Each transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match TCI's strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected. Each transmission package consists of a triple-tested TCI transmission and precision-tuned torque converter, a universal transmission cooler and premium TCI RTF transmission fluid. Chevrolet Performance developed the new SuperMatic 6L80-E 6-speed automatic transmissions with upgraded internal components, offering an exceptional torque rating of 650 lbs.-ft. That's a 45 percent increase over regular-production versions of this same transmission. A deep first gear enables strong launch performance, while the top gear supports balanced performance on the highway. They're for use with Chevrolet Performance LS and LSX crate engines in 2WD applications. GearStar Ford 6R80 Level 4 transmissions come with a custom billet Yank Performance lockup torque converter. This is the first of many upgrades that go into making sure that each transmission is built for performance applications to handle up to 750 crank horsepower or 700 crank foot-pounds of torque. These units have a brand-new valve body, brand new pump, billet intermediate shaft, expanded capacity clutches and steels, upgraded transmission cooler bypass valve, several valve body upgrades. They come with all new electrics, including the wiring harness, all sensors and solenoids—along with all new bushings, bearings, and seals. Every Level 4 transmission is assembled by one of GearStar's five expert builders. The transmission packages arrive dyno tested with 100 miles already on the product, which means the break-in procedure has been done and they're ready to go! Ford 6R80 Level 4 transmission models are available for 4WD or RWD applications.
