Kooks Headers COMP systems include heavy-duty, crack-resistant headers. They are complete exhaust systems that feature large diameter stainless steel construction with smooth-flowing mandrel-bent tubing. These systems typically include X-pipes, over axle pipes, mufflers, polished or black exhaust tips (some may utilize factory tips), and installation hardware. Kooks Headers COMP systems are offered in three versions: * Off-road (non-catted) for full track use with no horsepower loss and the loudest exhaust tone * Tuner-catted with high-flow catalytic converters with little or no horsepower loss and a deeper exhaust tone * With Kooks ultra-high performance GREENCATS catalytic converters; designed for naturally aspirated and forced induction engines up to 900 hp, they eliminate 90 percent of "Check Engine Light" warnings Note: Kooks Headers COMP systems may not be legal for sale, installation, or use in some locales. Kooks Headers offers header and GREEN catted connection kits for applications such as Ford Mustang 2 V and 4 V engine models from 1996 and up. Pipes are mandrel-bent from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel. The GREEN catalytic converters are EPA verified 400 cell high-flow and are suitable for use with forced induction.
