RideTech offers HQ air suspension systems for 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird (GM F-Body) applications. These Air Ride adjustable suspensions enable you to raise or lower your muscle car at the push of a button. The systems include front and rear HQ Series Shockwaves with adjustable rebound, plus upper and lower StrongArm front control arms, tall spindles, a bolt-on 4-link, and a front MuscleBar sway bar. Air Ride provides ultra-low show stance with modern ride quality and handling—and includes several components that will dramatically improve the suspension geometry to give your classic muscle car modern drivability. Systems are available with "pin" or "hub" spindles. Product features: * Tall "pin" spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle. * OR … "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late-model Corvette hubs and brakes. Uses C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking, and reduced maintenance. (Hubs not included). Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE, and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels. * The upper StrongArms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joints have been moved back to allow for additional caster settings to improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are also available for additional caster. Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction. * The lower StrongArms feature a double sheer lower mount for increased strength. RideTech has also dropped the lower shock mount to increase suspension travel and moved the lower ball joint forward to increase caster settings while keeping the wheel centered in the wheel opening. Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction. * HQ Series Shockwaves utilize an impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling. The rebound knob is at the top of the shock for easy underhood access. * Front sway bar reduces body roll and creates room for wider front tires. Includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low friction bushings. * The bolt-on 4-link dramatically improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation does not require significant modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube. Works with mini-tubs. All links are double adjustable with R-joint rod ends, combining the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special street/strip bearing. Upgrades: * Early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry—the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is bad, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The TruTurn System resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically means faster corner speeds. The MuscleBar sway bar helps keep those rear tires hooked up through the corner. * Compressor Sytems: RideTech offers its RidePro E5 air suspension control system as a pre-assembled, all-in-one module as the "AirPOD"; or you can purchase the RidePRO E5 system as a component kit to install how you like.

RideTech 1964-66 Mustang air suspension systems are the perfect choice to deliver modern ride quality and handling to your classic muscle car, while providing an ultra-low show stance. (To complete this air suspension system, a RideTech compressor system is required/recommended.) RideTech 1964-66 Mustang air suspension systems include: * Upper StrongArms: feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles (the upper ball joint has been moved back to allow for additional caster setting, which improves high-speed stability and steering feel). Billet cross shafts are included, with a lowered mounting point to increase camber gain and correct suspension geometry; they house a stout double sheer lower shock mount * Lower StrongArms: feature a unique design that combines the control and strut rod into a stronger, more appealing one-piece design. (Additional caster is designed into the arms, and includes a robust bearing in aluminum housing at the front mount to replace the soft factory rubber units) * TruTurn System: includes tall spindles, which induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering (also includes steering arms, center link adapter, tie rods and adjusters—to virtually eliminate bump steer, correct Ackerman angle, and allow for wider tires). This spindle is designed for use with 1967-69 Camaro brake systems (compatible with OEM manual steering, and with the Borgenson power steering conversion box). * HQ Series Shockwaves: utilize an impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling (they also allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling; the rebound knob is located at the top of the shock for underhood access). * Front MuscleBar: helps reduce body roll and includes the PosiLink end links that provide immediate engagement between the chassis and control arms * Bolt-on 4-link: installation does not require any major modifications to the floor pan, and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube; also works with minitubs. The R-joint rod ends combine the best qualities of low-friction movement, lateral stability, full-range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is as home on the street as it is on the racetrack.
