Chevrolet Performance LSX 454 long block crate engines are built with an all-forged, super-tough rotating assembly and feature a pair of new deep-breathing LSX 6-bolt cylinder heads. They also come dressed with great looking, all-new orange powdercoated valve covers with an engraved LSX 454 logo. With a carburetor and high-flow Chevrolet Performance intake manifold (sold separately), these engines are good for about 627 hp and 586 lbs.-ft. of torque. Due to the number of application variations, the LSX 454 crate engines do not include an oil pan, and the valve covers do not include provisions for mounting the ignition coil brackets. By combining the large-displacement and heavy-duty elements of the L8T 6.6L engine and a unique camshaft based off the Corvette Stingray's high-revving LT2 V-8, Chevrolet Performance engineers have created the all-new L8P 400 c.i.d. Performance crate engine. Rated at 523 hp and 543 lbs.-ft. of torque, it offers your project a unique and naturally aspirated combination of big-displacement torque and high-rpm horsepower. The L8T 6.6L foundation is the same high-strength, big-displacement engine found in the Silverado HD from 2020 to present day, featuring a forged steel crankshaft and high-strength components. Additional features such as oil-spray cooling for the pistons and a cast iron, long-skirt cylinder block with 6-bolt, cross-bolted main caps contribute to the engine's strength and durability. The new L8P builds on that with a unique, upgraded valvetrain featuring performance-oriented valves and springs, along with a unique camshaft that is based off the Corvette Stingray's LT2 engine. It has a non-active fuel management profile and more duration than the L8t's camshaft. Chevrolet Performance's ZZ632/1000 deluxe long block crate engines are their biggest and baddest big blocks! They start with a tall deck Sportsman Bowtie block and an all-forged roller assembly, then add a hydraulic roller camshaft and high-flow spread-port CNC-machined cylinder heads derived from Pro Stock racing technology. The RS-X design cylinder heads feature symmetrical ports to produce similar power from all eight cylinders. ZZ632 crate engines have a crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug ignition coils mounted on a unique valley plate. Chevrolet Performance ZZ6 EFI Turnkey crate engines build on more than 65 years of small block heritage and the legacy of the pioneering "ZZ" crate engine family to offer thoroughly modern performance balanced with traditional style. The engineers adapted a unique, electronically controlled port fuel injection system to the ZZ6 350, using an aluminum intake manifold that has the appearance of a carbureted intake. A fuel injection throttle body mounted in place of the carburetor allows a traditional air cleaner to be installed. The result is a great, traditional appearance and all the drivability advantage of EFI on the highway.
