That's a 45 percent increase over regular-production versions of this same transmission. A deep first gear enables strong launch performance, while the top gear supports balanced performance on the highway. They're for use with Chevrolet Performance LS and LSX crate engines in RWD applications. Chevrolet Performance's ZZ632/1000 deluxe long block crate engines are their biggest and baddest big blocks! They start with a tall deck Sportsman Bowtie block and an all-forged roller assembly, then add a hydraulic roller camshaft and high-flow spread-port CNC-machined cylinder heads derived from Pro Stock racing technology. The RS-X design cylinder heads feature symmetrical ports to produce similar power from all eight cylinders. ZZ632 crate engines have a crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug ignition coils mounted on a unique valley plate. Included is a pre-programmed, self-learning control system for precise fuel control and amazing output on premium pump gas.
