Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns feature large tube diameters and compact shrouds to create a unique custom look. Available in a variety of styles, lengths, and shaft sizes, they come complete with a gearshift knob, billet dress up kit (tilt, turn signal lever, and hazard knob), GM wiring (4 1/4 in. connector), and removable 12-position linkage arm. The columns are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes—including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, spray chromed, or polished to a high luster. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation. A combination neutral safety switch/back-up light (sold separately) must be ordered with the column, except for select models that include a switch. Select units include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. These columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch. Columns are offered with or without illuminated gearshift indicators. Have an overdrive automatic transmission?
