Tin Soldier Racecars 4-Link Kits
Tin Soldier Racecars 4-link kits are designed for ultimate traction and adjustability while offering exceptional strength. The chassis brackets are laser cut from 1/4 in. thick plate and feature 1/2 in. staggered holes for all the adjustment you need whether on a radial or slick. The chassis brackets are notched on the bottom for 1 5/8 in. tube, and have through holes for a 1 5/8 in. tube on top. The brackets are set up for 15 in. tube spread, but can be cut down to 12 in., if needed. Each bracket features ProJack tabs incorporated into the bottom of the brackets. The axle housing brackets are designed around 275/315 or 28/29 in. tall tires, but still work well with larger tires. They are laser cut from 1/4 in. thick plate and feature 1/2 in. staggered holes for all the adjustment you need, whether on a radial or slick. The axle housing brackets are made for 3.5 in. axle tubes and feature 6 in. shock adjustment in 3/4 in. increments, while including ProJack tabs incorporated into the bottom of the brackets. Steel shock mounts are included. The bars are made from chromoly tube and feature 3/4 in. HD chromoly rod ends with zinc plated jam nuts. Competition Engineering one-piece fabricated rear axle housings are CAD-designed and CNC-machined to be stronger and lighter than other styles. Their triangulated design provides the structural integrity required for racing. Made from chromoly or mild steel, the outer shell is 1/8 in. thick, and the faceplate is 1/4 in. thick. Configured for a 9 in. Ford, the housings come in either full-bodied car style, with cut-to-length 3 in. O.D. x .250 in. wall axle tubes, or dragster style, with big Ford forged housing ends aligned with the center section.
