Edelbrock Performer Vortec Intake Manifold and Carburetor Kits
These Edelbrock Performer Vortec intake manifold and carburetor kits are intended for small block Chevy engines fitted with either 1996 and later cast iron Vortec heads or Edelbrock's E-Tec aluminum heads. Performer Vortecs are great for street rods, engine swaps, or industrial applications. They're set up for either square-bore or spread-bore carburetors and produce power from idle to 5,500 rpm. The kits include a 650 cfm Thunder Series AVS carburetor with electric choke for easy drivability.

They incorporate Edelbrock's new high-quench 64cc combustion chamber design, which promotes a more uniform atomization of the air/fuel mixture for increased power. Available with 170cc or 200cc intake runners, these cylinder heads are assembled with one-piece stainless steel valves, 1.46 in. valve springs, retainers, and locks. Painless Performance EFI harnesses are designed for the 1998-2002 LS1 mechanical throttle body engines using a 1999 and up LS1/LS6 ECM with a 4L60E/4L65E automatic or T56 manual transmission. These engines were found in 1998-2002 Camaro and Firebird.
