FTI Performance MR Series torque converters are specifically designed for mud boggers needing an incredibly strong spragless unit without draining the bank. They're ideal for 400 to 1,200 hp weekend runners—and still perform well during occasional races. Features include a forged billet steel front cover, a billet spragless center, a hardened flanged impellor hub, and a steel anti-ballooning plate. Triple Torrington bearings, computer balancing, and furnace-brazed and heli-welded fins add to the list of reliable bulletproof MR Series parts. These converters provide excellent torque multiplication, better heat-dissipating oil flow, and impressive performance. Nitrous engines produce some serious horsepower and require a serious torque converter to handle it. B&M nitrous Holeshot torque converters can handle up to 650 hp and are built with the same features as the other B&M Holeshots, with the addition of anti-balloon plates that allow these converters to stand up to the instant horsepower that nitrous delivers. Converters with higher-than-stock stall speed let your ride accelerate better from a dead stop and allow the vehicle to idle better when a big cam is used. Fully furnace brazed, heavy-duty, needle-bearing thrust packages and new turbine hubs are the key features of these converters, along with the anti-balloon plates. These are serious converters for serious street performance cars.

A higher-than-stock stall speed as delivered by these B&M Holeshot converters will provide several advantages and benefits to vehicles with modified engines. Many modifications, particularly big cams, tend to reduce low-end power and torque. These high-stall converters allow the engine to launch the car at higher rpm, where more torque is available. They're a very good choice for the typical street machine that is looking for better launch capability and more strength.

TCI Competition torque converters are proven race winners and an excellent choice for stock and Super Stock cars. They work well with both big and small blocks, producing power between 4,500 and 7,000 rpm. You'll maintain engine rpm between shifts with their efficient design, and gain improved reliability with an oversize caged bearing supporting a new stator. ETs are more consistent and reaction times faster as a result of a stronger housing, which resists flexing and ballooning.
