These Moroso dry sump oil tanks are designed to separate air quickly from the oil, prevent foaming and ensuring a continuous supply of oil to the pump under all racing conditions. As oil enters the tank, it rotates around the tank wall and de-aerates by spreading over a large surface area, allowing trapped air bubbles to dissipate quickly. This then lets the restored oil flow easily to the bottom outlet of the tank, where it can return to the pump and engine. The oil tanks are supplied with or without integral filtered breather tanks, and all have carefully engineered inlet locations with -AN fittings, large diameter billet aluminum screw-on filler caps, and drain plugs. They are made of aluminum and are TIG-welded for the ultimate in durability.

Stef's dry sump oil tanks feature a revolutionary 360 degree, perforated 4 in. diameter, integral vertical center baffle that forms a positive oil/air separation chamber against the outer tank wall. This promotes immediate downward oil flow and premeditates de-aeration of the return oil without scavenging line flow restrictions. The oil tanks utilize a self-locking cap, a newly designed encapsulated element-type oil heater, and two elastomer lined through-bolt banding clamp mounts. They are made of aluminum and are TIG-welded for superior control.

Moroso dry sump oil pumps are the safest, most dependable oiling systems available. They're popular in all forms of racing, especially where low chassis height is important for good handling. Horsepower gain is maximized because there is virtually no oil in the pan and no internal pump, allowing the windage tray or screen to run the full length of the pan. Other advantages of a dry sump system include a remotely mounted oil tank for increased capacity, the ability to easily add remote oil coolers, more consistent oil pressure, adjustable oil pressure, improved scavenging, and increased ring seal due to greater pan vacuum. Brackets are included.
