NOS Cheater nitrous oxide systems are designed with the serious racer in mind. They feature larger nitrous and fuel solenoids than the Powershot systems and can be adjusted in a matter of seconds to add an additional 150 to 250 hp, simply by changing fuel and nitrous jets. They use a thin, 1/2 in. injector plate that fits between your carburetor and intake. Highly accurate spray bars within the plate simultaneously inject both nitrous and fuel into the manifold, creating a smooth rush of extra power on demand. Kits are also available without the bottle or injector plate. They are not recommended for intake manifolds with a separate inlet for each carburetor throttle bore, except for 3 x 2-barrel setups. Racing fuel is recommended. The CNC machined design eliminates round spray bars resulting in excellent atomization and cylinder distribution without rotation, sagging, or the disruption of airflow. These CNC-machined plates include a nitrous bottle with a custom solenoid. The Lightning Series solenoids feature CNC aluminum bodies with an integrated purge port, which allows for connecting a purge valve directly to the body of the nitrous solenoid, for less plumbing and clean looks.
