Strong yet lightweight, they feature a removable lower mounting system to permit spring or shock changes at the track without separating the ball joints. The ball joint cup is moved forward the proper amount to add up to 4 degrees caster potential—and is loaded with either high-quality Howe standard height or premium Howe +1/2 or +3/4 in. tall ball joints. The double shear coilover mount accepts race industry standard 1/2 in. rod end shocks, and comes with spacers for all popular models. UMI Performance 1970-81 GM F-body front lower A-arm kits are built with heavy-duty spring buckets, premium ball joints, laser-cut reinforcement plates, double-shear sway bar end links, and either polyurethane or Delrin® bushings.
