These MSD single cylinder programmable ignition boxes are designed for use on a variety of single cylinder motorcycle type 2 and 4-stroke engines. They deliver increased spark energy and voltage through the entire rpm range and provides the user with a variety of programmable functions including mapping two timing curves, setting a launch rpm limit, using TPS for timing control and more. The MSD single cylinder programmable ignition boxes gives you control over the timing functions of your engine. There are two timing curves that can be switched between through wire activation. Both timing maps allow up to 20 points to be plotted in 100 rpm and 1° increments from 0 – 16,000 rpm and 0-50°. The Brown/White wire is used to switch between Curve A and B. When it is connected to ground, Curve B is selected. These curves can also be set up relative to TPS voltage input from closed throttle to Wide Open Throttle.

The modules use this information to determine and control both fueling and timing enhancements for the Bosch fuel injection pump. Timing and fueling enhancements are controlled via CAN-BUS through the Data Link and by connecting directly into the Bosch fuel injection pump. The Edge Comp modules feature five power levels with power gains ranging from 40-120 hp. Getting a high-powered drag car to hook is the key to low elapsed times and win lights. Whether a small tire radial car or a full out Pro-Mod, all racecars will benefit from Holley's Time-Based Traction Management feature. Designed for Terminator X V3 Build 110 and later, the Time-Based Traction Management is intended for drag racing, standing mile events, or other racing that starts from a stop. Traction management is based on the time from launch vs. engine and driveshaft speed (one or both can be used). The tuner enters several curves that will retard ignition timing and can also enable rev limiting based on the departure of wheel or engine speed from the base curve. Each Holley EFI Terminator X Active Speed management software purchase allows activation of the traction management features for a single ECU. Once purchased, instructions will be emailed to the purchaser on how to access the feature. Please note that it may take up to an hour for the email to arrive after the order has been placed.
